Medicat One Okta SSO Integration

Use Okta SSO to enable employees to sign into Medicat One

Medicat One Okta SSO integration allows your employees to sign into your Medicat One application via your Okta organization.

Supported Features

Medicat One provides Service Provider (SP) at https://medicatone.com/login & IDP Initiated Authentication (SSO) Flows. Thus, any Okta user with a permission granted by Okta account admin can sign in/sign up to Medicat One with the help of the Okta account. All the credentials changes will be managed on the Okta account side, all the Medicat One settings (notifications) will be managed individually by users on Medicat One side.

Requirements

Administrative access to an Okta organization.

Configuration Steps

1. 1.Open a new tab/window in your browser and sign in to your Okta account as an administrator.
2. 2.Go to "Applications" and click on the "Browse Application Catalog" button.
3. 3.Search for and click on Medicat One, then click on "Add Integration".
4. 4.Choose the name by which you want to identify the application, by default it is Medicat One.
5. 5.You will be redirected to "Assignments" tab, then assign users or groups that require access to Medicat One.
6. 6.Go to "Sign On" tab and copy Client ID, Client secret.

7. 7.Copy Okta domain found by clicking on your username in the top right corner of the Admin Console.

8. 8.Email us your Client ID, Client secret and Okta domain at [email protected] with the subject "SSO Config".
9. 9.Our team will notify you once SSO is enabled for your organization.
